Russian skaters who read classics and love Theatres

The beautiful dancers Alexander Stepanov and Ivan Bukin are in the Alina new.

Ivan, son of Olympic champion Andrey Bukin, will soon be 24, and Sasha, whom he stood in a couple nine years ago, was 22. They have long had high hopes for Russian dance on the ice: Junior World champions, Grand Prix and adult Euro 2015.

Ahead of the Olympic season. Vanya and Sasha are dreaming of going to Korea, going out there and swinging for a new four-year cycle.

-How were the new programs passed?

Sasha: A short dance to us was Irina Beetle, and the arbitrary is Peter Chernyshev. Both programmes have already been rolled out. The idea of arbitrariness is not yet to be disclosed. I was very happy with the outcome. We're quite close to latinum. The Balnikami. I'm so captivating. I didn't think it was so interesting to dance latinum on parquet floors. And we were good!

Want to do ballroom dancing?

Sasha: Yes, of course! There was a desire to take ballroom dancing lessons.

Vanya: I'm a born dancer. No, if you have no jokes, there's a lot of new things to learn.

-Your coaches said you were radically changing the style. Aren't you afraid to take the chance in the Olympic season?

Sasha: Not afraid. We would not like to repeat ourselves. Change every year. This is not just about music and execution style. I'm talking about everything, the tracks, the elements.

Vanya: Now is the time when we can afford to try new things, find other ways, not be afraid to experiment. It's never too much.

Who's doing your suits? I think there's a lot of your ideas in there.

Vanya: Ooh, this is a long process, and the whole team is involved. From parents to coaches.

Sasha: For example, last year, a short dance suit was already ready, but it didn't look at the ice at all. I had to change everything. I made pants, and Vanya's mother brought in a ready-made corset. I just had to stitch it with beautiful rocks. This season is still in the process of preparation.

How do you set yourself up before important launches? What are the factors that help or, in fact, prevent?

Sasha: There's never been a big hit on us. The coaches set the target, outline the plan-we work on it.

What do you usually feel before you go on ice?

Vanya: Mixed Emotions. You're in a competition, carrying out practice in an atmosphere of emotional nacala. You represent a state of completeness and concentration when you want to take a good ride, bathwater everything you've accumulated? It's very difficult. Sasha: It's still important to enjoy the skating, the visual response. You're experiencing incredible sensations when you hear acclamation, screaming, you feel like the public is with you.

Where are the loudest fans?

Vanya: In Ostrava, the European Championship had a very strong reaction.

Sasha: Practically everywhere. You finish up in the middle of this big field and you think, "Wow!" "It was all for nothing."

Last season you showed very good skating, but the ratings were not always adequate. What are you thinking about? What do coaches say?

Vanya: Irina Beetle and Alexander Vasilievich of pork feel the moment when it's not necessary to talk about it. That's why we don't know. I think their approach is correct. Otherwise we'll start to twist ourselves.

Sasha: The coaches don't show their discontent. They have that policy. I didn't hear any comments on the judgement from them. We're just doing our job. Anyway, I believe the fittest will win.

-In juniors, you almost always surpassed the French Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Sizerona. How do you think that's changed now?

Sasha: A couple of reasons. They left juniors at the right time, and the situation in the group is in their favor. In addition, the programmes had been put on Gabriella, and now they had found a balance. Well, what's the big secret?

Vanya: But things change, we'll see.

How do you feel before the Olympic season?

Vanya: We have a terrific emotional charge! We have a great chance to go to the Olympics, and that perspective gives us a huge incentive. The mood's stronger than usual. We've never been to a game, but according to the kids ' stories, we know it's not comparable. We want to see a big show, feel it as a part of it. We'll do anything to get out.

Sasha: We don't think of any enormous responsibility. We want to get high from everything that's happening this season.

You mentioned that you wanted to be an actress after your career. Is there still a desire?

Yes, I'm still interested in trying. But the other classes are only after sport. I don't want to do anything halfway. If you learn, you have to give your studies all the time, and now it's impossible. I don't want to go to a movie just to make a glow. If you succeed in the future, why not?

How do you distribute your free time? Where do you go? What do you read?

Sasha: I try to read Russian classics.

Vanya: I love concerts, theater. I just went to the big ballet. If the books are modern fantasy. I spend time with my friends as soon as possible. Although it's not always the power to meet. There are days when you come out of practice and you don't want anything. Only enough to lie down at home, because I'm a complete one.

You have an idea of a program you'd like to execute, but you haven't yet?

Sasha: There are numbers when you hear music and you just get bored with looking at skaters. But I have a modern tune. Most of his modern boring is enough. And I know here that I would have a great program for the exponentials. I would like the music to emphasize our skating would be a good backdrop to what we can do.

Vanya: I was impressed by the Volosozhar-leader program on the Indian topic. Something like that would have been a pleasure.

Sasha: I agree, I'm very fond of "India" Tani and Maxim. If they were on one start, I tried to watch it live.

Sasha: I only look at the comments in Instagram.

Vanya: I'm looking at online comments, but rarely. There's not enough time.

You're traveling a lot. What's the best place to remember?

Vanya: Seoul! One kitchen is worth. Everything is so different from us. Just cultural shock! I've never been to New York. I'd love to go there.

Sasha: Boston. The atmosphere was particularly great. I'd like to go to Serbia. There are very beautiful places.

Are your friends in the world of figure skating?

Sasha: The best friend lives far away, and the best friend is away from Moscow. Good contact with the group guys-about Smirnov and Igor Eremenko.

Vanya: My friends are mostly not from the figure skating.

Are there any traditions before the start or the mascot?

Vanya: No, it's very dangerous. If you don't do that, then the mood will break.

Sasha: No, it's a waste of time to think, to get distracted. If something went wrong in the short dance, there was a breakdown, the trauma, the need to support each other, the exchange of positive emotions. It's important to remain a couple. For us, the most important thing is to be together.
